Because of this month’s friend of The Kolbe Center, more local families will have a safe car seat for the journey home from the hospital. For a parent preparing to welcome a baby, that is no small thing. It is one essential worry lifted at a moment when there can be so many.
The person who made this possible may never hear the click of a car seat buckle or see the relief on a new mother’s face. But their kindness will be there for that first ride home and for every trip that follows.

It's not safe for babies to sleep in bed with adults. There is a danger of suffocation. Some families cannot afford to purchase a safe place for baby to sleep. With your help, we are able to send moms home from the hospital with a portable bassinet so mom and baby can rest easy knowing they're safe.
